ABSTRACT:We report a facile one-pot method to produce magnetic carbon nanotubes (MCNTs) using as-prepared carbon nanotubes modified by NaClO. MCNTs were used as adsorbents for the removal of dye pollutants, and the resulting MCNT hybrids exhibit good dispersibility, excellent magnetic and adsorption properties of dyes, which could favor many applications such as in biomedicine, environmental and energy industries.
