作者: 时间:2026-03-26 点击数:

MXene, hailed for its hydrophilicity, conductivity, and modifiable interlayer spacing, emerges as a frontrunner in capacitive deionization (CDI) electrode materials. Yet, pristine MXene grapples with suboptimal ion removal and stability. This review delves into inventive strategies to fortify MXene-based CDI electrodes, spotlighting their avant-garde applications in combatting ion pollution, reclaiming resources, softening water, and thwarting bacteria. Future prospects for MXene in CDI are also deliberated, aimed at igniting inspiration in the CDI arena. Some strategies proposed herein can be applied to other electrode materials in the CDI domain, thus fostering advancement across the entire spectrum of CDI electrode materials.
